I was a bit annoyed when it didn't win, but there's no shame in losing out to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

If I was forced to pick a John Carpenter favourite, that would be it, but goddamn he's done so, so many great soundtracks. His son is following in his musical footsteps too which is cool.
