This is not my favourite version of the song, but I chose this one because the accompanying pictures of Scotland are so beautiful. (Though from all over the Highlands and Islands, not just from around the eponymous Loch.)



My mum was Scottish and my dad English. They met and married in the Highlands during WWII. I remember hearing them singing this song to each other when I was growing up.
