This reminds me of laying on my back in a field in Essex (1972 Weeley Festival) and forming shapes from the coloured stars in the sky, the pounds shillings and pence, was fairly strong.

I don't remember the Beatles playing Weeley! ^_^ I do remember chanting "Out, demons, out" when the Edgar Broughton band were on, and great performances from Lindisfarne and Stray, among others. Anyroad, this might be my last offering tonight, two for the price of one: Sun Ra with Calling Planet Earth.

How much does it cost to Oldham?

It might have been the bloke called Gypsy who played or it might have been a record, like a lot of things at the time the memories vague.

It is still Friday night, isn't it? I think I may have sobered up, then got drunk again - classic lost weekend. Can't believe I missed this one: Loudon Wainwright with Hard Day on the Planet.
I seem to keep singing the hook line every couple of days.

While I'm pushing the boundary of Friday night (far from the worst offender, am I?) here are two more gratuitous offerings; the good Cap'n with Full Moon, Hot Sun, and Van the Man with Astral Weeks.
