I'm not religious, in any sense, but I'll agree to these, or any of them




My sister chose Steve Earle's "Pilgrim" for the last song at her funeral, and I thought it was an excellent choice.
I would quite like "Good Morning" by the Dandy Warhols. It's upbeat, wistful, and isn't trying to make a statement. Besides, I think my friends and relations might like the guitar solo while they throw themselves, lemming-like, on my pyre out of inconsolable grief.

I want Jump by Van Halen. Not because I particularly like Van Halen, or the song (it's ok)but because it's instantly recognisable, and it amuses me to think of people wondering why on earth it is being played, and if it is a mistake.



and then perhaps something like Thea Gilmore's cover of When I'm Gone as a reminder to the living to make the most of their time
