i think mine was Donny Osmond with Long Lost Lover from Liverpool please do not ask me why
I think that you'll find that was Little Jimmy Osmond with Long Haired Lover from Liverpool. My Mother loved it and played it until we took it and hid it.

(Thanks Dayvo for making me feel old )

That was mine, too. However, mine was bought from a second hand shop and the disc had a small hole in it. I used to have to stand over the record player (A second hand radiogram the old man bought) and lift the stylus when it got to that bit.

Those were the days.

I am a "lister"
Don't know how to post a video
First, find a video of the song that you like, usually on YouTube. Underneath the video you will find a link that says 'Share'. If you click on that, a dropdown box appears which contains a suitable shortcut link to the video. Highlight that and copy it.

Now go back to CycleChat and start your post. Put the cursor where you want your video clip to go and then click on the 'Media' icon above the edit box. (It is the icon that looks like 2 strips of film, 6th place from the right.) A popup box appears, which has a text box labelled 'Embed media URL'. Paste the link you copied earlier into that box, then click the 'Embed' button. That should do it! :okay:

First one I can recall buying was in 1960. The Rattles (German group) singing zipa-de-doo-dah.
I have no idea why I bought it because I never really liked it.
I also bought a really great 78.......Its Only Make Believe by Conway Twitty.

Resolutely on topic
I must have been a strange child to have bought this in my local Woolworths.

I remember seeing Don in, I presume, reduced circumstances around the turn of the century singing and selling cassettes from a suitcase in Kingston town centre, still wearing the pith helmet.
