Robert Wyatt's "Caroline" is one of the most beautiful love songs ever, but tonight's about unusual cover versions, so here he is on TOTP performing the Monkee's song, "I'm a Believer". I seem to remember John Peel describing this as something like "the only performer capable of making Neil Diamond remotely acceptable to the thinking listener", or words to that effect. (Memory slightly suspect after all these years and an inconceivable amount of alcohol.)
