That's a tricky one. An awful lot of songs in movies we think were written for the movie were actually existing songs, including the first one that came to mind for me (Man of constant sorrow from O Brother Where Art Thou)

A lot of animated film, particularly anime, has original music if anyone's struggling to find one. This film is one of my all time favourites, it has it's 20th anniversary next year and I'm hoping for a anniversary cinematic release.

I’m not going to be that strict.
That song was an integral part of the film and I bet very few had heard it before.
I was thinking more along the lines of Stand by Me. Which was a famous song first.
