Well, if you want to think bad thoughts about the plumber, this is the music for you...The Future by Leonard Cohen. Listen in the dark

However, if you want to be cheered up, tap that title into YouTube, and see him on the Jools Holland show in 1993 (?). The great man himself does a little shuffling dance, and smiles. Check out the foxy backing vocalists....

What do you expect? The really bright kids tend not to go into plumbing.

This bloke is shocking. Every other tradesman who has been working on our extension has be fantastic, every one of them complete stars; conscientious, dedicated, smart, helpful, tidy, willing to work hard, willing to turn up at short notice, willing to find solutions to tricky situations. Everything this ****wit isn't.

And don't ask why he's still on the job! Cos if it were as easy as that he'd have been told to **** off on day one! I might be posting on Monday evening about how it goes.....I think he thinks the slight talking to he got yesterday was a bollocking: poor bastard doesn't know what's gonna hit him!

If it was me, and he was that bad, he wouldn't be. Years ago my mother and father-in-law got a couple of guy in to fit a kitchen for them. I popped in to see how things were going and after looking at what they were doing took my mother into the livingroom and told her she should ask them to leave. She refused and berated me for suggesting it. I had to spend most of the following summer fixing her stupid kitchen! :0(
