...rash!

This is an 'APB' for Tim O of this parish...
"Come in Tim - are you receiving me?" Message continues; "FFS, is this one of your efforts? Do I have to go and buy a table to hide under, or will the Telegraph do?" - Please respond as I will discontinue eating 'Smash' in protest against all the space junk that is falling down."

I blames them two kittens for you taking your eye off the ball satellite and causing folk to put off sweeping up leaves and going out on bikes, like.

Oh- here's the link.

Remember that if a bit does hit you, you are not allowed to keep it or sell it on Ebay because it belongs to the US government.

Ah, but, so long as you are wearing a helmet you can sue them for injuries.

Sorry, Adrian. How about something bringing about the best of helmets , astronomers and photography?

Ah! - now I understand... :headshake: are the dotted lines the measuring points for the perfect helmet fit?

Here's a major tom, ground control.

I think the bottom line is that it's not likely to be a major event anywhere near here

Nope - the satellite spends most time in the more extreme latitudes of its orbit. That's us!
Only safe solution is a Thursday Night Ride to the Pole. I'm currently plotting a route via Aberystwyth ...

take another look - the orbit varies each time round. Earlier today the line crossed Lake Athabasca (as if anybody cares). The latest line is over California.

I'm with 'Teef on this. Tim knows something and he's not telling us. He's probably in some cave with a hundred packets of salted peanuts, various electronic devices and a variety of women of childbearing age. And the cats.

Come the hour, cometh the man - Tim will emerge from his cave to find a world devastated by falling space junk, which he will repopulate. Zev and Kai will reveal themselves as visitors from another galaxy and form a new World Government and fit each and every survivor with on-board GPS to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Me - I'm getting myself an MTB. Sorry, but road tyres are going to be naff-all use after the apocalypse

Which is safer, east or west side of something substantial?
east - it was over Sri Lanka a little while ago, and now it's over China

I read somewhere that the chance of being sprinkled with space dandruff was negligible, 1 in 3200. If that's true, an awful lot of people are going to need to get out their clothes brushes.
