a different route this time, with a tea stop near Faygate. Leave Hyde Park Corner at midnight, arrive Brighton about seven for a well-deserved breakfast. Numbers are unlikely to match last month's post-Guardian bonanza (63 including Pasquale, who thought we were going to Brixton) but, still and all, this is, given reasonable weather, going to be a joyous convocation of friends, new and old.
