Martok - check out http://fnrttc.blogspot.com/ and send your mobile number, your CTC/LCC/AUK/BC number if you're a member of any of these fine organisations, and confirm you've read and understood 'the basics' to fnrttc@yahoo.co.uk

Becs - I'm just going to check that I've got your details... which I don't. Could you e-mail me the stuff...

I am in Southend right now! With cheese and chums! But I'll be in foreign parts - at a daft poncy music festival - when you lot are all cycling to Southend. Which means that I am probably done for overnight adventures this year; unless it's very balmy October it will be too cold for me.

Much as I'd love to join you - I went to school in Westcliff and the Southend ride was the one that claimed my FNRttC virginity - I fear I will be ferrying little ones back to university that weekend so will have to miss out.

Could you add me to the list, please.

will that be the 'drinkie winkies' list as well or are you going to be on good behaviour?

Strangely I've already been musing about the post ride aspect, the seaside is all very nice for a bit of relaxation but the trek home on trains afterwards is a pain. Would it be an idea to head back to London for a late morning/lunchtime/afternoon/how long can you last session? Us country bumpkins don't get up to the bright lights too often...just thinking out loud like

Yep, I'll have an all day pass. I like the idea of only having a couple in Southend and then heading back to London for a more diverse range of boozers. I could lead a South London crawl in the Balham area, if anyone was interested.

Hurrah! Finally, the busiest week of the month is the one after the FNRttC, not the week before.

Please add me to the list. I'll do my usual duties at the front, if so required.
