Red carpet with stars on... don't think you have quite got the gist of the rehydration section of this ride yet, Fab. Never mind, there's morden enough time to succumb to subtle persuasion as to the health benefits of Brighton spa water.
Ahhhhh.
Methinks I should read this thread from the start!

Alternatively just ignore Teef as his posts only confuse.....translated it's ride back or stay on the beer in Brighton...your choice, though gentle persuasion has been known to be applied

My Dunwich plans might be going belly-up, would there be room for a Foodie en-route to Brighton and a return pedal to Morden?
(Fully paid-up CTC member).

A ride back did you say? To Morden did you say? Via Croydon it would be? Well I'm heading that way for the SMRbtH.

As this is Evey's first long ride, we aim to head back to East Croydon fairly promptly by train. It will be interesting to see how far the post ride drinks derail our plans. As I'm normally on the SMRbtL, I've not had much chance to learn the tricks.

Could be good for me, what's the SMRbtH?

Actually I might ride back - there are no train tickets left on British Rail - they've all been purchased! I suppose I could pop over to London Fields, then bimble back from Dunwich too - looks like it's going to be a nice day.

 I wish I had your legs!

I was seriously considering the DD but was uncertain how I was gonna get back. Riding back would be a tad too much for me, (and the wheels have fallen off my plan to deliver the car to Dunwich) hence thinking that FNRttC would be peachy, It's long been on my 'to-do' list having done so many L2Bs and also the chance to meet so many online personas!
Jeez, I'd love to be capable of doing both! Maybe it should be on my to-do list for next year. I need to be pushing myself more regularly over the 100 mile mark ... I might even do an Audax one day

'Teef is sending out mixed messages about the ride back!

I think you are right about tickets. Apparently that market has been cornered by a Swansea-based hedge fund which is rumoured to be looking to take its profits via a complex and sophisticated yellow beer swap strategy.

Edit - cross posted with another mixed message!
