Would have thought the crooked Spire down the road would be better. I'm just interested, there was a discussion on this last year. I am not fussed if people come here to enjoy the place, as I've said before I would rather they were elsewhere than here, but not going to complain if it is no travelling.

Nor was my crazy idea to go over the Snake Pass at night with dozens of riders to perhaps Runcorn,Elsemere Port or Liverpool that serious. It would be very funny though.

Not since the Eggbox got knocked down. Being brought up in Chesterfield, trips to Sheffield were a big adventure, til we started going every Saturday , ah, the golden days of the Leadmill and the people's republic of South Yorkshire (2p any bus ride you know)

That's the eggbox, one of my favourite ever buildings (why yes, I do love brutalist concrete.....)

I preferred the old peace gardens too (well not the old, old obviously). It's not a very common view though.

Actually the revamped Park Hill Flats is going well. Not sure of the exact timetable but one side of it's looking semi-finished now. Might be going fairly well by a ride next year.

that's good to know, when I was a vibrant youth we used to dare each other to sneak to the top of them, it was.... educational.

I do need to get up there, visit mother and get some photos of Castle Market before they knock it down.


And back to the rez...... 3 line whip under red star jerseys on Friday then? Am a little worried that the long sleeved will actually be too warm.....
