As always.
Hello! Yebbut is that the SMrbth lightening speed back as opposed to FNRttC speed? I was thinking about riding back to LMNH. How long would that take (roughly) do you think?

Not sure riding a bendy bike counts as part of one's five-a-day LonJOG wise.Is anyone thinking about cycling back from Sarfend as part of LonJog training? Just wonderin'...

I have been considering this, yes. Even though I'm only doing day1 of lonjog and am desperately undercooked.Hello! Yebbut is that the SMrbth lightening speed back as opposed to FNRttC speed? I was thinking about riding back to LMNH. How long would that take (roughly) do you think?

The 'lightning speed' version I would consider. Not the latter, having just spent all night saying "hello trees, hello birdies, heelo puncture...etc" SMRbtL is what I would be aiming for...Hello! Ummmm I wasnt intending to do this on the Brommie - I need some miles on my roadbike! Not sure riding a bendy bike counts as part of one's five-a-day LonJOG wise.

Best to repair them. Cycling on the flat means you'll damage the tyres. No idea re: speed - I go for Mpathy not MPHthyMmmm (as in pondering) So how fast is that exactly? Is it aiming for a rolling average of 14 to 15? (ie 108 on the flat??!)

c'mon - you know you want to!Ummmm I wasnt intending to do this on the Brommie - I need some miles on my roadbike!
Correct indeed. But it would need even deeper water than this. I've got a couple of lifejackets if that would help. Oh yes, and a climbing rope, harnesses, carabiners, etc etc. I might even have a small anchor we could use as a grappling hook.I'm reliably informed that the bridge/path to the right of the ford was totally submerged.
I'm correct in thinking that Hatler drives a boat, am I not?
c'mon - you know you want to!
On FNRttC York to Hull I was discussing Southend with Charlie B and Adrian C - I said something like "But I dont have to do it on my Brommie, do I?" "Yes" they both said immediately and emphatically in complete unison. Hello! Yebbut is that the SMrbth lightening speed back as opposed to FNRttC speed? I was thinking about riding back to LMNH. Same here, after southend in December I felt about the freshest I have after a night ride, hence me thinking this is my chance to get a first ride home in... I'm by no means the quickest rider around of course so I'm thinking it'll be more of a plod for me than a scoot. So long as I get back to crypal in time to get a bath and a couple hours kip before the cup final I'll be happy.I'm toying with a slow stopping-at-all-stations kind of meander home again if the weather's not too bad. But as I've never done a night ride, I've no idea how fresh I'm going to feel in the morning so it may well be a case of hopping on a train.
