Just a few days now until the launch of the 2009 Friday Night Track League at Halesowen on May 1st.

If you are intending to ride, it pays to register in advance. You’ll beat the queues on the night, as we will fast-track riders who have pre-registered. Visit www.halesowencycling.net for an online form. Fill it in, e-mail it back to us and you can pay the registration fee on Friday.

The weather forecast for Friday is looking good, and we have a great programme of racing planned for riders and spectators alike, with quality commentary. This year, we have a £1500 prize fund spread across many different awards and categories – so everyone is in with a chance!

The racing will be divided across the following ability-based categories:

  • Senior A
    Senior B
    Youth
    Freewheeler A
    Freewheeler B
All freewheeler riders must pass a safety test before they can enter. (This will NOT be possible on the night, so if you/your child needs to take one contact us asap!)

Entry is free for spectators, there is plenty of parking and the quality commentary keeps everyone informed and entertained.

This year we will have a barbecue as well as the usual trackside refreshments, and of course our clubhouse will be open with some excellent real ales and other beverages.
We are very easy to find on the A456 heading west from J3 of the M5.

Please contact us on fntl@halesowencycling.net if there’s anything else you need to know.

Sorry Dave, been really busy over the last few days so haven't been on CC too much.

If I can get a bike sorted (I am awaiting a phone call from Paul, and then if Paul brings bad news I will be borrowing Alex Cogswell's wheel and using them on my frame) I will be there tomorrow:biggrin:

Yes it will. Sign it as well.

You'll still have to join the long 'couldn't be arsed to register in advance' queue instead of whizzing straight through at the 'I got my shoot together and all i have to do tonight is sign on' table.
