Just leaving Heathrow into the usual Friday rush hour traffic chaos after a 14 hour flight. Feeling surprisingly good considering so will push on through to normal crashing out time.

On the way there we went down through SE Europe, through the 'Stans and over Mongolia to get to Tokyo. But on the way back they went through the Bering Strait, skirted the edge of the Canadian arctic and over Northern Greenland. Maybe they've decided that flights need to go anti-clockwise round Russia. Either way, blimmin' long flight.

I think it's more to do with capitalising on the jet stream. The jet stream in the northern hemisphere goes anti-clockwise.

Therein lies the problem, can’t find hoods in anything other than standard black. I have a few spare sets of tape in red, white, pink but no matching hoods.

i found white hoods for my original sram etap from some place in china via aliexpress

really cheap so i bought a few pairs, but was prepared to be disappointed, they turned out to be just as good as sram ones, grippy and durable - looks like they were cast from originals

might be worth a search to see if there're any similar for your levers
