Just leaving Heathrow into the usual Friday rush hour traffic chaos after a 14 hour flight. Feeling surprisingly good considering so will push on through to normal crashing out time.
On the way there we went down through SE Europe, through the 'Stans and over Mongolia to get to Tokyo. But on the way back they went through the Bering Strait, skirted the edge of the Canadian arctic and over Northern Greenland. Maybe they've decided that flights need to go anti-clockwise round Russia. Either way, blimmin' long flight.
