Took a detour last night to indulge in the venison stew at Corrour station.
Whilst the stew was great, I arrived too late and had to negotiate with the kitchen staff. I got fed but was too stuffed to sleep so pushed on.
Eventually I ran out of light and weather resulting in a rushed choice of a midge riddled camping spot on an estate road. Can't see myself brewing up here so it's smidge, strike camp, and on to see Lochan nah earba one final time before it gets flooded for hydro.
Worst case scenario: coffee after 23 miles.

Some pretty impressive thunder and lightning overnight, still rumbling away a bit. Doesnt seem to have got light yet. Into town for a couple of things after coffee.

Rumblin' and thunderin' and pourin' cats and dogs/stair rods/buckets [delete as appropriate] from 4am. Air smells great; all that Nitrogen.
Beans is crashed. Another busy night but no dead things. Must be courting. They'll have to adopt.

Perhaps he was hit by lightening and has realised yet.

Its currently banging and flashing here in Fife. Which might make walking Bertie a bit awkward so we will have see how soon it passes. Later is grandsons leaving assembly at school followed by village pub quiz at what will be her local when she moves in to her new house.

No storms here but very warm & humid overnight which didn't make for a good nights sleep and managed to sleep through the alarm again, might need to get a louder one. WFH in a rather warm cave, will grab a haircut and supplied later on. Too hot for any sim racing antics so will probably watch a bit of footy with a cold cider or two later on.
