But on the lucky side her mum took her, and I'm sitting here with a glass of wine

Admittedly I've never, ever been to Ikea and not had that happen...

Nearly went in to the side of a car on a roundabout at Dorridge station, not unlucky, just my piss poor maintenance of the brakes.

Oooh, commiserations to elder Noodlette and the paper boy. I didn't even know it was the 13th today, it registered not. And nothing weird happened.

No there isn't, but this has been a particularly "unlucky" year with three Friday 13ths: in February, March and November; the most there can be in a single year.

For me I suppose it counts as a 'lucky' day, albeit eventful. Separate thread.
