There should only be one 4 o’clock in day but today I shall see two.
Setting off shortly for a few days on the bank but first, tea.
Have a nice sunny BH weekend all, and don’t forget the SPF as it’s looking like a nice one.

No just preparing to downsize, after living here a long time a bit of extra work is required to get it ready to sell. Eldest sons room ended up as storage rm when he moved out. Plus after 30yrs you suddenly realise you've got way to much stuff. Will hopefully be on the market end of June/ early July.

Bright and warm but overcast here in the capital.

Enjoyed a walk to go and collect a car. There's some neighbour's cats to feed/play with and DD1 has threatened to do family today.

Window cleaners have just arrived so hopefully they'll wake both sleeping beauties.

Summer has arrived and it’s already too hot sat on the patio. So coffee, walk Bertie, climb and weights, then wait and see if there’s any more dramas with daughter dearests house purchase.

Took us a fair amount of time to sort through/clear out all the cr@p that we had accumulated in the 23 years in our last place, luckily when we moved we had our first purchase fall through so got an extra 3-4 months to get it all done.

Won't need suncream as I'll be working the cave for most of the day, but will be sitting out in the garden later on with a big fat G&T. Got almost no meetings today as everyone is leaving/skiving ahead of the bank holiday weekend so may squeeze in a spot of sim racing. Then an early ride tomorrow before it gets too toasty.

Managed to climb and do weights despite it being so hot aI was getting condensation on the garage floor and my weights.
Daughters house purchase in Scotland where I thought things were supposed to be simpler than in England seems to be going from bad to worse. It seems theres no sign of certificate for the conservatory despite the vendor saying he’s sent to the solicitor who says no he hasn’t.
Mrs W looked on the council website and it’s says planning permission given but no sign off certificate received.
Daughters told them sort it or she pulls out.
