The difference between the Met Office and the parts of my garden I can actually see is stark.

A day of shuffling vehicles and children awaits. May be time for a coffee in all that.

Bright sunshine here but reading 2 c atm , i ache all over this morning so doing the old man groan as i move .

I'll join you in a moan.

3 days hedge cutting and then... everything was going swimmingly after strimming until the ride on mower tried to kill me. In two ways: firstly, something 'went' and it shot off at silly speed. Managed to stall it but then had to push it all the way from the bottom of the garden. 3 to 4 hours trying to sort it out: gave up and finished the grass with the strimmer.
So instead of finishing at 1 and going to a café, I finished at 5.30 knackered.

Morning Folks,

Last of 4 days on the trot WHF due to tube strikes. Could have ridden in but the office will be pretty empty - back to normal next week. Not too busy today unless someone drops a 'surprise', which is good for a Friday. Off for a gig up in Nottingham with some mates tomorrow so looking forward to that. Might have another coffee in the meantime.

The trot can be a nuisance at times.
