Dodgy suntan lines, small steps (usually around the 345mm mark), doing snot rockets anywhere, and always observing the wind direction.

I was wearing a bike.
Anyhow, I've made it there and back undetected and free from social awkwardness.

Bjr. Walked the long pretty way down to town to pick up serviced Lapierre gravel bike (free first service, bet they did very little). Tried to sort out cancelled deposit on hire van (no luck yet, both sides saying they can't do anything). Bought mini paint roller and more paint to finish ceiling job (now done), and now doing some horizontal thinking after sandwich lunch.

Lid on laptop going down after a surprisingly busy Friday afternoon, time for a chill after picking up some supplies. Senior hound has just had a few teeth out at the vet but seems to be none the worse for it despite being 10 yo and having general anesthetic. I think my wallet hurts more, that cost more that would for me to have the same number of teeth pulled.

Had a great day with the kids (young adults or summat) today. Ended up staying in playing boards games and ordering Dominos Pizza.
