You know, songs about stuff that nowadays would have the yoof of today baffled. Let me start you off.

Free Nelson Mandela - Spacials, N/A as he is free.

Holidays in the Sun - Sex Pistors,
"Now I got a reason, now I got a reason to be waiting the berlin wall"

Berlin wall has been dismantled. Likewise antoher brick in the Wall by Pink Flyed.

Problem Child - The Damned.
"I wanna come home at 3AM
I love my records
Alright and I'm going to play 'em"

Well, now it would be downloading itunes and mp3s.

Olivers Army - Elvis Costerro
"There was a checkpoint charlie
He didn't crack a smile"

Gone, along with the Berlin Wall.

You should have gotten the drift by now.

"Daddy was a bank robber"
No, he was a diplomat.

Will that do?

Presumably you mean Pink Floyd, in which case, the song wasn't about the Berlin Wall, it refers to a psychological wall, so it still means as much (or as little) as it ever did! ;)
