I got a email from the taxi licensing body in North Tyneside council.
Was i glad to read what was sent to me
A email i sent before stated that its a shame the emails i send for complaints are never positive. This explains the start.
"They are positive in one respect. How many of these incidents have occurred in the past where people have not contacted us as it is their word against the driver. Firstly you are one of the few people who is prepared to stand up and shout about what is going on, and can back it up with video. It takes all the argument out of the drivers when they come into the office. If you don’t let us know, we don’t know what they are up to and cannot take action.
I will have this driver in for interview and see what he has to say for himself. It may be after Christmas before I get him in but I will drop you a line once I have spoken to him."

In affect i think they means i have their support, unless im reading this wrong.
Non the less a happy email and signs of the things to come. If anything it makes me feel full of joy just to know im being listened to and that action will be taken.

Must say i was rather shocked by this guys response. Thats what i love about the Newcastle... look for support and you will find it.

I thought i would put the video in this post to give the email some context.
A few others have used this guy and he said to them... "we would get tried of reporting them before he got tired of dealing with them"

I get the feeling I've fallen asleep & woke up in a alternate universe, I'm not sure what the driver has done wrong here apart from being guilty of poor observation, he tried to make an overtake, realised he'd got it wrong & braked. Not sure where the drama is.

The issue is with the camera in 960p, it makes everything seem triple the distance it is. The issue here is the driver nearly hits me, its the fact i move left that he didnt.

I understand people make errors in judgement
However he almost when into the back of me and gave me a huge fright.It was insane for him to even attempt to try and overtake. I was left shaken by the experience.
I gave up my primary position as i genuinely thought this taxi was going to mow me down.
I didnt think he was going to stop and would just try and push past non the less not an excuse for the language but meh.

if an 18 wheeler nearly hit you while in your car... that would leave you shaken.... does that mean you give up driving?
