That you near wee yourself.

Anyone else got one? I went out with one last night and we got drunk and laughed our socks off. at the end of a rubbish week he cheered me up more than I thought possible. Everyone else at work thinks I'm still a bit p*ssed because I've got the serious giggles even now.

I sometimes make my wife laugh so much it is painful for her.

Which is a bit strange, as no one else finds me funny at all....

Yes, I do have a couple of friends like this who are very dear to me.
They keep me sane during hard times and are partners in crime during the good times.
I can also trust them to be honest with me and not be 'yes people'

Wouldn't be without them.

Yep, he works in the office next door and not many days go by without having a tear of laughter brought to my eye.

Went to a posh resturant a few years back with a friend on mine, he made wife laugh so much she had food coming out of her nose.... not a good look! the other diners were horrified. it was at a place called Rhinefield house in the new forest and IIRC the food was not worth the money we paid.

Most of his best material is stories about his wife's naivety like the time a tube driver invited her to ride in the cab and her surprise when he tried to kiss her...

My late step-dad used to be quite senior in the forces, and he had a way of telling stories around the dinner table that would have everybody in fits of laughter. Must have been something to do with commanding authority, but also having a wicked sense of humour.

My two oldest friends make me laugh until my ribs ache and I can't breathe - usually over stupid things that nobody else would find funny. I'll also chuckle to myself about things that I remember days (and sometimes months) later.

Chuffy also makes me laaaarf!

I have a friend who really makes me laugh - most of the conversations I have with him are just giddy. In fact there's a group of 4 of us who go cycle touring every year (including him) and we can all barely cycle through laughing.

PS baggy I don't know why but I'm also chuckling at your ice-shallowpond-friend ref and I don't know the story, or you, or the friend or what happened. Hey ho. It's friday i guess.

Gawd Bless ya WW!!

For one reason or another I've read a fair few "hard" threads of late (on the relationship front) so thanks for reminding me of why I value my friends so much.;)

I can...hand on heart say that all my friends (of which I have very few) have made me piss myself at one point or another..sometimes through no effort on their part at all!!

I really enjoy the period between xmas and new year as i get to see all my friends as apposed to just my relatives...who I didnt choose;)

This particular friend works for the same company so we get to see each other quite regularly but last night was a classic. I nearly fell off my chair at one point and I don't even know what we were talking about.
