I always find the first episode of things a bit slow, maybe just because they are introducing the characters and laying the plot. I will carry on watching it though. Seen worse.

I was looking forward to it but thought it was quite cliche - seems every cop now escapes to Scotland to escape from urban crime and takes up outdoor activities but can't hide from their past... I recall something with Chris Ecclestone recently that was very similar. Also the flashback sequences were overused. I'll stick with it, for a bit at least...
