Riding down Fromes Hill on Friday had a massive tank slapper...
It's happened a few times when I'm no handed at slow speeds but easily controlled by pushing knee into frame - never had one at that speed before though... Was a little scary to say the least as I knew my mate was on my wheel and dabbing the brakes at the speed could have taken us both out - managed to hold it as friend went past then dabbed the brakes until it disapeared.
Looked back at GPS and maximum speed was 49mph - the fastest I have ever been on a bike..
A very big buzz though..
