Hi all
I've read the thread lower down about lights for commuting with interest, and thanks to the advice given, have now settled on my choices (I think!).
The rear light is ordered, and I was just about to order the Magicshine MJ-808 as this seems to be a good option for the price.
My only concern was that some people have commented that it might be too bright for the traffic (illegal, possibly?) and that it has different settings.
Has anyone used this light and experienced a problem with this? Or can you offer advice on how to avoid this problem?
Whilst I want to be seen, I don't want to be dangerous to other road users.
By the way, the different settings appeal to me because, if possible, I'd like to take a canal path route for a mile or so before hitting the road in a built up area, and then finally moving onto a rural road without any lighting, but that is busy throughout the day.
Thanks!
