In the above link it is £49.99. Does this include £20 off or is there a voucher code you need to enter?

It includes the £20 off, but you can get £5 off a £50 spend using code AWINDIS5, just add a resistor or something cheap to take it over the £50 mark. The makes it around £45, would have thought it would be better quality than some of the ebay lights if it's from maplin, and you have a 12 month warranty.

Rodders, thanks for the code - I was tempted and then persuaded by the extra £5 saving. Got some PP9 batteries for the smoke detector that decided the battery was low at 5.00 Am yesterday morning! Looking forward to trying it. Cheers.

I doubt it. They will only quote what the manufacturer - Magic Shine or who ever make it have quoted.

In the Q and A section they certainly seem to do a lot of testing.
Obviously one off stock won't get the same treatment.

Anyway, seems my quick scan of an email prior to deletion was wrong.
They only had £20 OFF whatever the price was, and for 24 hours only.

I stopped a cyclist tonight to ask him what lights he had on as they were very bright and lit the canal up brilliantly. He had a Nite Rider Minewt - I don't know which model number but they range from £72 to £395 on Wiggle. £395 is more than I paid for my bike.

Well I have gone from mid range Cateye's to a Moon Meteor set, and so far I am chuffed. I have not had one Cateye not fail on me after around 8-12 months, always the switch. This set was not much more and it is at least twice as good and a much smaller handlebar footprint.

How are you finding the Moon Meteor?. It seems to have good reviews so have just ordered it from Wheelies ebay shop for £39.99 plus postage.

Really good size to light is really good, the rear is fantastic too. In the new year I will get another set and replace the rear and fron cateye.

I do re-charge them after each commute which is 55 minutes, I do not run the rear on full power, but I do run the front full on. It gets me down a country unlit lane at 5pm dark without any problems. Which my £35 4 x AA battery cateye couldn't.

I bought a pair of these which I find great on dark nights I like them better than t6 clone I bought the other year.

Well I can use my Smart 35 lux as long as I have street lighting.

I suppose it could also get me along a safe predictable path.
It's a 'be seen' day time light for me.
