Front Light found in south London.

Something of a long shot but I found a very nice front light lying in the road on my way home on Friday night, and if possible would like to find the owner.

Let me know if you think it might be yours- brand, model and approximate location in a PM.

Why not just keep it? Useful as a normal torch given the deficit of a compatible bracket if nothing else.

I found a good rear light earlier in the year, still flashing and being of the opinion that if it were mine, I'd like it back.

Picked it up to stop it getting stolen, rang local Police to see if loss had been reported, which it hadn't, but left my details anyway.

Laminated a "found" note with my mobile on and pinned it to a fence post close to where I found it.

It was close to a week and I wasn't far off claiming it as my own, when the owner rang and described his light and it turned out he didn't live too far from me.

It felt good handing him his light back and I even turned down the bottle of red I was offered, the thank you being sufficient.

Some of us can be bothered, others can't.

Only just saw this but I recently lost a black Lezyne Macro Drive front light, I suspect in the Deptford/Bermondsey area. I'm not really sure where as when I looked down it had vanished! But it was in the morning and probably not Friday so would be amazed if it had been in the gutter still!
