front wheel change for apollo phaze

Hi, I have just bought a second hand mens apollo phaze 22 mountain bike with 26" wheels. The front was not disc compatible, but I was unable to find an original disc spec on so bought a ventula airline 1wheel and it looks like the sxel may be too short to reach the forks. What can I do? ?

Oh dear, I hope you didnt pay much for the bicycle shaped object known as the apollo phaze.
You post is not really making much sense, but Halfords, where the bike comes from, sell front wheels that are disc and rim compatible from about £25, dont expect much in the way of quality but it will match the bike.

Sorry about the grammar and spelling etc. But what im trying to ask is whether or not the axel in the wheels can be changed easily so that the new wheel I have just purchased, will fit onto the front forks?
