Drivers, please clear your side windows (and front screens) - it's very hard for you to see when the sun is reflecting off the ice - the vehicle you pull out on might be a HGV next time.... ;)

Some silly pull outs this morning, despite having my lights on, in good sunshine.... lots of frosted car windows....

Clear all of your sodding glass before you drive off - front, all side windows and the rear ;)

And clear it properly.

It always amazes me how little effort, say an extra five minutes warming the car and clearing windows, will make to help drivers have a more comfortable drive in instead of battling with the elements. But then again, most people driving to work still have part-frosted windows when they reach their destination and the temperature guage hardly away from the blue.

Yes, agreed, extra careful at the moment as we are actually less visible than in pitch blackness, I can kind of understand the sun in the eyes but not clearing the screen is unforgivable, most I am glad to say, this morning had made the effort, it does amaze me that rather than spend a couple of minutes clearing the windows drivers will peer through semi opaque windows guessing whats going on in a tonne and a half car.
