Frowning Commuters?

Now that it's no longer winter and the seasonal cyclists are taking to my route, I try to give a nod, smile or 'morning !' as I go.

As yet, zero response. But then speaking to anyone you don't know is usually taken as the sign of a nutter who it's best to avoid !

I've only get one proper response from the same bloke every time; I've given up with most of the rest, although another bloke has started giving me the nod.

There is one guy I see every morning and evening. He never smiles, never acknowledges me and I have give up with the grumpy sod (he always wears a frown). Not sure what his problem is, probably doesn't think I am a serious cyclist as I only cycle 3-4 times a week and am often out of the country for a couple of weeks at a time.

Seriously thoug, surely after nearly 1 year of seeing someone 2 a day you would at least give the nod or smile occasionally?
