I never tire of Pingu even after twenty two years. I'm considering buying the DVDs as the VHS player is now defunct.

My OH bought frozen for our daughter last week; it's currently safely in the wrapper. Our "DVD player" can be relied upon to knacker a DVD within about 20 plays, but then it is an ancient Playstation 2. For this reason I rip backup copies so I can make a new one when the DVD inevitably gets scratched by daughter or player, so they never die. This became procedure after buying 'Cars' for the fourth time.

Are you being plagued by Frozen on DVD by your kids? Is it on hard rotation in your house ? Have you started singing Can I build a Snowman ? When will the DVD wear out ? How many plays does it take to DESTROY it.
The bloke I work with has three kids so watches it a lot and sings the Can I build a snowman, I have never seen this film but found myself singing this song... WTF!!

So that's where it comes from! My eldest keeps breaking into 'Do you want to build a snowman?', totally disregarding increasingly hysterical shrieks of 'NO!'

I've just looked up the 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman' on Youtube. I was traumatised within twenty seconds and grateful that I didn't have to listen to it in its entirety.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Thank god my grandchildren are all too old to want to watch things like that anymore. Being plagued by the teletubies by my grandchildren, and chorlton and the wheelies and tickle on the tum with my son and daughter, I can now sit here with a very smug look on my face, while laughing like a loon. What goes around comes around as they say.:rofl: . face. Smug. Much. Hell yes.:giggle:

So you missed the line
''Do you want to build a snowman
Or ride a bike around the hall?'' You see, there is an alternative.

Almost every time I go round to see the grandchildren there's Frozen on the box. I'm beginning to see it in random morsels.

Bought the DVD yesterday for my 5 yr old daughter. It has already been played once this morning. She saw it twice in the cinema.

The last film she watched repeatedly was "The new adventures of Pippa Longstocking" which she found on Netflix. Frozen is a blessed relief from having to watch Pippi Longstocking multiple times.
