For Sale: FSA Omega Triple Chainset + BB - as new
Chainrings = 50, 39, 30T. Cranks = 172.5mm.
Comes with FSA MegaExo bottom bracket.
Chainline = 46mm i.e. compatible with Shimano triple mechs and shifters (The donor bike had exactly this set-up).
Only done 50 miles to check the bike which was a 2010 Kona Jake and which I bought with the full intention of swapping the chainset & bb. So nothing wrong with the kit – it really is 'as new'.
£50 ono.
Collect from Bristol or Carnforth(Lancs).
Will post subject to agreeing cost.
NB. This is an outboard bearing design with a hollow bottom bracket- i.e. needs a compatible bottom bracket shell which most modem bikes will have. You will need a standard tool to fit the outboard bearings - I have one these that I could loan to someone collecting in person - or you can buy them relatively cheaply from your internet shop-of-choice. (The bearing outers have the same pattern as the Shimano Hollowtech design and a tool that works on one will work on the other).
[This is being sold on behalf of Mr Spinney - who does not frequent these boards - but I can pass on any questions etc]
