Hi to All,

After a while of thinking and researching, I have now (depending on the test drive) settled on the Fuji. It seems to tick all the boxes that I am after (previously was contemplating a cyclocross) and seems to be good enough for a year round commuter. Nice price too

Can anyone offer any feedback on the bike? Also is it worth holding on for a while hoping the price will drop further due to newer models.

The other that I considered (off a different thread) is the Whyte Sussex.

Thanks

Saul.

Go ride it, if comfortable and makes you smile, buy it

I don't know anything about the bike TBH, but there's a good review on BR HERE and another good review HERE

Fuji don't seem to have as big a market share as others, and as a result you don't see them all to often on the road,(round here anyway), but TBH I like them for that

FWIW I had a Fuji fixed gear bike a year or so since, and the build quality on that seemed fine so I see no reasons why this should be any different.

have now also found this Specialised Secteur, but seems like the Fuji still has the better set up.

Specializd better frame, other brands better component and generally less common. But go test ride for yourself

I have a Fuji Finest 1.1 and really like the bike - OK love the bike, much prefer it over my old road bike. Parts have lasted really well with me having covered nearly 2,000 miles on the bike since it was purchased at Easter this year and chain has yet to even make it to the 0.75% mark on my chain stretch tool. the parts list on that one looks pretty much the same as the one I have (women's model) except for the fact that mine is rim brakes front and rear (can't comment on the wheels because I put my Fulcrums straight onto the bike from the word go).
My only regret is that I did not buy it sooner!

I will say I have yet to meet another Fuji bike on the road or know of anyone else with one either so you will stand out from the crowd!

will have to pop into Evans and order the bike (Fuji) and test ride both (will also get a size fitting done in the process) prefer the Fuji for the colours!!
