On sale at just over £100,would be used for daily commute and weekend 50 mile runs,anyone have experience or views about them [would be replacing mavic open sports]

I've got a set of fulcrum 7 s had them for over 2 years and used them in all weathers and neather had any problems. They have been a good set of wheels

don't bet on that. my fulcrum 7 cx's have gotten very noisy after 15 months use in all seasons but pedestrians still have no idea I am there and walk out in front of me unless I say something. apparently something clicking behind them does not mean a bike!

Mostly happy with mine (normal Racing 7, not CX), but they did go slightly out of true after a few hundred miles. Very easily sorted with a spoke key but it shouldn't happen.

If I'm being picky I would say that the joint in the rim on my set wasn't particularly smooth. Now I've used the wheels a bit the step has smoothed out. Perhaps not 100% on the quality control, and if I had more time and was buying again I'd look into getting a handbuilt set made up instead. It's made me wary of buying more expensive wheels as if they can't get the basics right I'm not encouraged to spend more with them.
