For flat rides, the network of roads crisscrossing the Fylde is ideal.

If you like hills, you have some great rides into the Forest of Bowland and back which would be in a 60-70 mile range. I definitely recommend checking out the Trough of Bowland, Cross of Greet, Bowland Knotts, Waddington Fell, Beacon Fell, and Longridge Fell.

Take a look at [click here] cycle.travel, a great help in planning cycle routes.

How fit are you? If you need more help planning and could manage a very hilly 60-70 mile route, I could work one out for you taking in some of those fantastic hills.

Oh I like that cycle.travel link. Just tried for it my daughters in Leuchars Fife and it came with a few routes.
Cheers.👍

Another route, this time over Waddington and Beacon Fells - 112 km/70 miles, CLICK HERE. There is a visitor centre with a cafe on Beacon Fell.

To keep rides down to 60-70 miles and include the more distant climbs, you would have to start and finish somewhere closer, such as Longridge.
