Anyone know what GB stands for in this brochure picture? Under Bar and Stem.

GB were a maker of bars and stems that were popular in the sixties and seventies.
Stands for Gerry Burgess. Made other bike components too.

I found this interesting: GB has survived – it diversified into tubular furniture in the 1970s and is now [2020] one of the largest suppliers of conference furniture in Europe.

Stands for Gerry Burgess.

I didn’t know that. All I remember is, back in the ‘70s, referring to a bike as having GB brakes.

Yes, has a 1971 price list so presumably a 71 brochure.
