The G line has been designed with a long legged, short torso cyclist in mind. I am the opposite. Bought a G line after remembering how awful the Dahon was as it always tried to unfold, and took up way too much space folded.
So, what I want to do is lower the handlebar and move it forward a little. 6cm down, 1 cm forward would be ideal. It's a medium.
Chop and re weld had occurred to me, but the stem riser is aluminium and I've no TIG welder.
Yes, the handlebar sticks out when folded, like the bike is excited about something, but that is NOT the issue I'm trying to address here.
Any ideas, like some stem adapter ? If I could get an Andros stem to fit, that'd be great, but it looks as if it only works with a 25.4mm handlebar stub.
I thought I'd get used to the radically upright position, but it is not happening.
