Decathlon Rockrider was doing OK though.

3 Presenters, Potsy? Not surprised. Is that bald git still presenting his vacuous opinions? (Far more vacuous than mine )

He (Jason) was the tester of all the bikes, then they brought in some Pro's to test the finalists.
They now have 5 presenters on that show now, what recession?

Makes a change from the usual £2000 stuff they normally test I suppose.

How did the Rockrider fare overall?

I have been impressed with the Decathlon flat barred hybrid/tourer that I bought last summer and came with decent derailleur components, mudguards, a Shimano dynamo hub, lighting with a stand light function and rear rack all for £450.

I quite like the Gadget Show. My favourite gadget so far being the Flatmobile, which isn't really a gadget, but someone's home project in which some bloke made a very low Batmobile out of a Hilman Imp. That episode involved a tandem relay race incorporating a Cannondale, a Thorn, a tandem BMX and some weird sidecar arrangement.

The prizes in their competitions are just amazing. 19 grands worth of gadgets ( yes I know 50,000 will enter at £1 a throw ) but if you won it would take you a week to unpack them all, let alone store them, 4 telly's, 3 computers, 3 games consoles etc.

Oh it was Decathlon, was it? That full rigid bike was proof of the wisdom of spending your money on a simple traditional rigid frame and forks where the manufacturer has been able to use reasonable quality bits rather than on some piece of mild steel shite with springs on it that weighs a ton and falls apart on the first ride.
