The prizes in their competitions are just amazing. 19 grands worth of gadgets ( yes I know 50,000 will enter at £1 a throw ) but if you won it would take you a week to unpack them all, let alone store them, 4 telly's, 3 computers, 3 games consoles etc.

We calculated we'd have to move house just to fit in half the stuff in their prize if we won - not that I've ever entered the competition anyway!

Having a house full of tech gadgets would irritate me I think. I wouldn't fancy spending half my life reading the manuals for one thing. Probably end up giving most of the stuff away. I like to pick and choose what technology we bring into the house.

Funnily enough it also a disincentive to me as well. I cannot imagine that volume of stuff and I would not use most of it.

Ebay is your friend.

I sometimes text in, but the odds are pretty steep.
They've started doing postal entries, which would be cheaper than texts. I wonder if someone could work out how many entries I'd need to submit to make me very likely to win, and whether that would cost me more than the prize value.

Rockrider get's it !!

So glad somebody does a decent bike cheaply, and from various feedback around it seems their bikes' quality is relatively consistent too. At risk of plugging my own post here, wouldn't it be great if their comparative virtues are better publicised while the unsuspecting public continue to buy from Argos and supermarkets by the thousands when they can do better?

I slightly went off the show when they were testing camera cases with a flame thrower (or was it a jet engine).

They seem to be trying desperately to be like Top Gear but failing.

Good to see them do something like a cheap bike though.
