I see the lights on every now and then, but never open, also seen lots of walkers try the door with no luck.

It's a shame really; it could be a great place - it has about 16 bedrooms and I'm sure that they could tap into the tourist and shooting trade. The two pubs in Llanarmon seem to be doing very well from both.

If you haven't cycled to Llanarmon, I really recommend it. The road becomes much quieter after Glyn Ceiriog and it is a very pleasant ride. From Llanarmon, there's quite a tough climb towards Oswestry - very nice roads & scenery.

Are there any decent roads over to Corwen from Llan DC?

I'm going to work in the car today, if I get a chance on my way home tomorrow I'll drive up that way

Back to the subject - the pheasants are getting tamer by the day, and this morning stood eagerly awaiting prawn crackers, noodles and some rather revolting stuffing. Every bit of it has gone.

PLEASE don't shoot them - there are much more appropriate methods when they're so tame, which are quieter and don't pepper the flesh with lead pellets!

Then when they're really tame and trusting you can blow their little heads off. I hope they do at least get eaten, and not just thrown away.

Wouldn't dream of killing them - I like seeing them around.
