I've an inexpensive greenhouse bookmarked. It's going to the rear of my garage and I specifically want a lean-to for space optimisation purposes.

Its also good over winter. During the day the greenhouse warms up the brickwork to the rear, which is then radiated back overnight and helps keep things above freezing. Ideal for over-wintering plants.

Gardens looking a lot lusher after a few days rain (pics taken yesterday);

Also re-sowed the Kales that got frazzled in the sun and had a Broad Bean pasta ,the beans were from last years saved seed.

Clearing away spent forget me nots in the garden and found my spider plant has overwintered outside for the second year.
Potted plants I had in the unheated greenhouse didn't survive the winter, but this one is still going

Anyone's beans struggling due to bugs putting lots of holes in the leaves. Not seen the actual bugs just holes all over the leaves.

We've just had our first ripened strawberries. The first I was eager to eat until I turned it over and a bug had eaten a hole right through it. The second was unmolested and it was delicious

Today i am saying goodbye to my old and faithful pal Mr Wheelbarrow,unknown to me Mrs P has had delivered a new barrow,my friend has helped change this plot this garden for decades,without moaning,and what does he get,in the skip,goodbye old friend,it's none of my doing.just waiting for other s i l to leave and some tree lopping going to be done,her car is next to the skip,and i do not want any accidents.

Well he has gone his last job done with dignity was to carry his last few weeds and not wanted plants off the land to the skip.where after tipping them in i just left him.An exciting event happened Mrs P decided that the new shed was not going where the old one was,we have moved the sun seat there it catches the evening sun more,a brilliant idea Mrs P and the new shed when it comes will be in the corner of the garden,now having lots of space left in the skip i have told my great neighbour to 'fill his boots' and put his rubbish in it.which after tea i noticed he was.

Right that is the clearing out finished,and i have been kept for another year.In the pouring rain we sorted the garage out,or what was in the rafters,an old sledge,a piggin sledge,eldest child is 30 and we had the sledge,a bit of metal work framing again why ? so that's it skip is there till Saturday and our lovely neighbour,we are so lucky,can still use it,there is a good selection of his rubbish in there already,one item a blob of concrete with a metal pole through it,a garden whirly clothes thing.

And one of the Kniphofia Northiae flowering (possibly Northiae, real thing apparently doesn't offset like these have so probably some sort of clone).

The hoops were there to pop netting over mainly to stop the Podophyllum 'Spotty Dotty' (bottom left ) and Dryoproris wallichiana from wilting
