strange - because with Google & Connect side by side on my version they are identical images.that does take me to a play button, but on Bing, not GE mapping.
. It has a tendancy to route down things which might be great for a mtb or my tourer but are not for a road bike... had to walk one section on yesterdays course - frozen mud and another I just ignored, turned around and freelanced for 3-4 miles until it informed me I was back on track!
How do you get it on GE

If I am on the road bike I have taken to double checking stuff I don't know or is likely to be bad, by going to the google cam thingy (where you dump the pedestrain symbol on the road and it shows you their drive by camera pictures in google maps) but even that failed me on the last route because I had checked what I though would be the problem to find it was tarmac but pedestrain only (old road that had been closed), but failed totally to check the connecting road (which was gravel & currently mud and nothing more)... so I am still carrying an OS map... luckily I had already looked up an alternative for that one in case so could simply turn around and carry on without having to stop to investigate - tis one of the few strava segments that day I had an awful time for - I did a 2km detour in the middle of it!That's what I was getting at but you put it much more eloquently than me.
My worst ever strava segment involved a 15 minute coffee break. If I am on the road bike I have taken to double checking stuff I don't know or is likely to be bad, by going to the google cam thingy (where you dump the pedestrain symbol on the road and it shows you their drive by camera pictures in google maps) but even that failed me on the last route because I had checked what I though would be the problem to find it was tarmac but pedestrain only (old road that had been closed), but failed totally to check the connecting road (which was gravel & currently mud and nothing more)... so I am still carrying an OS map... luckily I had already looked up an alternative for that one in case so could simply turn around and carry on without having to stop to investigate - tis one of the few strava segments that day I had an awful time for - I did a 2km detour in the middle of it!

was only seond time I rode it so still got an achievement![]()
despite the 2km detour. I got one last weekend with a 30 min tea break in it (in a tea shop!) taking the break out would have had me in 4th place (for women)!
