Garmin Edge 605 Repair

I've got a 605, the screen has gone on it (turns on all I get is a white screen), and the battery is flakey, so most of the time it won't turn on anyway.

Anywhere that does repairs, anyone that knows roughly how long it might cost to actually fix it and if it's worth it?

Try give garmin a call for a replacement they quoted me £69 pounds for a replacement dakota 10 out of warranty

no screen and no battery !! its bust - i would guess that parts and labour would cost alot and you would still have a old unit ! i would think about replacing it - but get some quotes first just in case the repair is viable

Second the Garmin approach.

Why pay lots for a new one if you can get a more serviceable unit for a fraction of the price, especially when the 605 has a sharper screen than the Edge 800 and also transmits data which the 800 won't.
