Hi all, I went for a ride yesterday and used my Garmin to track things - I cycled from my house to the station, took a train to Stevenage, did some more riding, then took the train back to St Neots, then cycled home. I paused the ride whilst on the train each time. When uploaded to Garmin Connect, it shows that I did 45 miles, however when I upload to Strava it says that I did 90 miles - not being one to cheat, I don't want to upload these 'stolen miles' as they will affect the challenges on Strava too.
Has anyone encountered similar? And if so, how did you rectify it?

I havent done it but you can crop Strava ride, its under 'actions'.

I believe Golden Cheetah allows you to edit files also. There is an edit tab for sure, not explored it myself though.

Thanks - from what I can see you can only cut bits off the start and end....
One possibility ? perhaps you could upload the original, crop the end. Transfer the gps file from your garmin to your hard drive, rename it, upload it to strava and crop the start; you'll have two separate strava flies though if it works.
If the Strava folks can sort you out all the better

I'd have to crop it into 3 pieces! Will see what the Strava help say first.
