Garmin - Technical Suppoort par Excellence !!!

    Today I had the pleasure to despatch the following e-mail to Garmin Europe, Technical Support:

    Dear Sir,

    You recieved my defective Etrex Vista HCX at 1300hrs 15th April, 2008. I have just received ( 11.00hrs 17th April, 2008) an operational replacement in the post.

    In this day and age this has to be a replacement service second to none - my congratulations and thanks to you and to your technician David Geary.

    Well done - keep up the good work!


    Within the hour I had recieved the following reply:

    Dear Donald,
    Thank you for contacting Garmin(Europe)Ltd.
    Thank you very much for your email Donald your most welcome, it is always nice to hear posotive feedback from customer! As we then know the job we are doing is a good one. So thank you again. Please feel free to email me again if there are any other issues.
