Yes...I won't ever forget that series and the good old days.They were the good old days.

Yes it's very sad. He was a really funny guy and a pity he couldn't build on his success in DS. It was a good show for all the criticism it copped at the time. But it was a pioneering show as it was the forerunner of the Cosby Show and The Fresh Prince.

Sad to see the passing of Gary Coleman. Yes the girl whose character was Kimberley died about 10 years ago as you've written HB. Her death may have been drugs or alcohol related, can't remember now. Neither am I sure what happened to the character Willis.

I seem to remember when Different Strokes was on, the Jacksons were in full swing, Off the Wall was in the charts. As you say happy days ....... on the surface.

RIP Gary Coleman.
