After 11 careful miles in pretty heavy rain, I made it to the car park at work , safe and sound, however , I turned the corner through the main gates and boom , the bike just slid away from under me

Gave my hip a real good going over but otherwise I'm all good

And soooo the cheap carbon crash tests continue :-)

How's best to deal with those injurys ?

I actually drove in this morning - knackered - couldn't be bothered finishing the wheel last night !

As for injuries - just a bit of savlon ! If bruised, then hirudoid cream is very good - yes I know it sounds like a 'pile' cream, but it's for bruises.

I had my back end go out when I was pulling into my street last night - there was some grit or something on the corner and bike just slid out massively. No idea how, but I managed to stay upright.

Realised I haven't come off since the winter. I must be long overdue. It's like Final Destination

Ouch, I've had too many off's my self lately but I feel fortunate, bruises and road rash will heal. I'm one of those folk who would rather let it heal naturally.

It must be raining over most of the country. I am holding off on my ride until later as I want to give the roads time to dry out. At 8:00am this morning it was torrential and very off putting
